London 1888 and the name Jack the Ripper causes fear and panic in the East End. Still to this day his identity is unknown. Some say he was Royalty, some say a surgeon and others say he was a worker on a boat. But his identity will never be known.

1800s policemanIn the winter of 1888 Jack the Ripper murdered 5 women in the Aldgate and Whitechapel area of London’s East End.

His victims were brutally slashed and their organs removed. This facinating legend has attracted tourists to London’s East End for years, and there are many guides that will take you around.
